• Molly S. Hermiller, PhD

    Principal Investigator

    Molly is a Cognitive Neuroscientist and Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department. She has undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Speech & Hearing Sciences from the Ohio State University, earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Northwestern University (PI: Joel Voss, PhD), and did a post-doc at Columbia University (PIs: Lila Davachi, PhD, & Joshua Jacobs, PhD).

    Ellee was an undergraduate research assistant Fall 2023-Spring 2024. Upon graduation, she began working full-time in the Hermiller Lab as a Lab Coordinator. Ellee is also actively pursuing her PhD in Neuroscience under the guidance of Molly Hermiller.

  • Marissa Munroe, B.S.

    Post-Bacc Lab Manager

    Marissa was an undergraduate research assistant Fall 2023-Spring 2024. Following her graduation, she began working full-time in the Hermiller Lab as a Lab Coordinator, later advancing to her current role as Lab Manager. Marissa is also actively pursuing her Masters degree in BioMedical Neuroscience while working in the lab.

    Zaya is a Behavioral Neuroscience major, graduating Spring 2026. Her current focus is her honors in the major project, where she is analyzing memory and imagination and how the two interact.

    Steven is an undergraduate student at Florida State University majoring in Biology and Psychology. He began his research through FSU’s UROP program and is currently conducting research in the Hermiller Lab. His long-term goal is to work in a clinical setting, where he can apply his interests in memory, cognition, and development to help others.

    Alana is a Behavioral Neuroscience major. In the lab she is developing an interactive maze-navigation and associative memory task to investigate the memory network, with a focus on comparing iTBS and cTBS.

    My name is Cooper Garrard and I am from Jax, FL. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in psychology and plan to pursue a master's in sports psychology after graduating.     Lilly is a Behavioral Neuroscience major. Her research interests are memory, stress, and cognition, and she hopes to pursue medical school. Lilly is especially motivated by how neuroscience research can be translated into clinical practice to improve people’s lives.

    Lourdes is an undergraduate majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She has a strong interest in the future application of research to develop treatment regimens for conditions that cause memory loss, such as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

    Madison is a Behavioral Neuroscience major on the pre-med track who began research through UROP on academic learning in developmental disabilities. She aspires to become a physician, blending clinical expertise with research, and is also a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, AmeriCorps Alzheimer’s Project volunteer, and FSU sports fan.
